A burlesque performer of 9 years, who's dream is to become the very first New Zealand showgirl. With a corseted waist at only 23 inches, she is called the 'little bird'. A popular international performer she has performed in major burlesque shows, festivals, corporate events and private parties both in NZ & overseas.
Leda Petit is the winner of New Zealand's premier 2009 burlesque competition & the Tempo Dance 'Stole the Limelight' Award & is considered one of New Zealand's premier burlesque stars.
Leda has appeared on various Good Morning shows, 20/20 & Maori TV; as well as in the NZ Herald, Next Magazine (as a rising star), GetFrank Men's Magazine, 1AM & EYE Magzine. She's worked with Magnolia Memoir (USA), Miss Exotic World 2013 - Imogen Kelly, Mika (a Kiwi Cabaret icon), oscar nominee Keisha Castle-Hughes, fashion designers Kate Sylvester & Lonely Hearts, Pavement Magazine's Barney McDonald, bionic pixie songstress Zowie, Melbourne's House of Burlesque & Minsky Malone, & the incredible physical theatre company The Dust Palace.
Described by GayNZ.com as "New Zealand’s Queen of Burlesque" Leda Petit is one of the country's Burlesque Communities founding members.
